My Name is Dominique Hawkins, I’m a fashion design student at the University of North Texas with 5 to 10 years of experience in the fashion industry. My passion for fashion began at the age of 10, and over the years, I’ve developed a style that combines streetwear and luxury fashion with a Christ-centered perspective. My designs focus on purpose, body positivity, and empowering individuals to feel confident and express their true selves through clothing. Each piece I create reflects my commitment to both innovative design and meaningful, inclusive fashion.
My inspiration came from the idea of Business wear and Streetwear. These type of clothing styles have their own identity and choose to be associated with different silhouette and style. My goal is to create clothes that truly express ways for people to come outside of their comfort zone( introduce another type of clothing that has not been expressed). Really indulging into the person the God has allowed them to be " beautifully and wonderfully made". Some of the inspiration came from seeing certain things outside of the normal and seeing aspect of a garment in different forms.
